In light of recent increases in the cost forecasts for the Fornebu Line, the date for when the contract can be entered into is yet to be ascertained. Hence, while the tunnel contract Lysaker – Vækerø has now been awarded, a possible signing of the contract will be carried out later.

Veidekke: Nominated to win Fornebu Line contract
The Fornebu Line has nominated Veidekke to execute tunnel and ground construction work on the Lysaker to Vækerø stretch of the rail line. The contract has an estimated value of NOK 1.145 billion excl. VAT. Following negotiations, Veidekke was assessed to have submitted the best offer based on the award criteria of price, quality and environmental aspects.
