Veidekke to build more homes at Lilleby in Trondheim

Veidekke has signed a contract to build 15 terraced houses and 39 apartments for the Nye Lilleby housing project in Trondheim. This is a design and build contract valued at NOK 130 million excluding VAT. Construction will be carried out on behalf of Lilleby Eiendom AS, which is owned 50/50 by Veidekke Eiendom and other partners.

A total of 1,100 homes in the shape of apartments and terraced houses are to be built at Nye Lilleby. These will be surrounded by a huge 38 decares of parkland when completed. The surroundings will be free of cars with parking either in basements or outside of the residential area, and the project is centrally located in Trondheim with a short distance to shops, schools and kindergartens.

This new contract involves erecting two new building stages on the project. Konsul Lorcks Hage 2, which comprises 15 terraced houses of two or three storeys respectively, and Fabrikkløkka 1, which will be an eight-storey building with 39 apartments.

Groundwork and demolition of existing buildings on the site has already started, and the homes are scheduled for occupation in the summer of 2019.
