Veidekke Entreprenør has signed a contract with Harbitz Torg AS (Møller Eiendom) for construction of an environmentally certified office building at the Harbitz Torg project in Skøyen in Oslo. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 676 million, excluding VAT.
The contract includes the construction of an office building of 30,000 m2. The building will be a landmark both in the landscape and as an environmentally friendly, certified and energy efficient building making extensive use of green technology. The largest tenant in the building will be Hafslund AS. With its 10 floors, the project is one of the largest available new building projects in central Oslo.
The office building will be attractive to tenants because the building is efficient in terms of space, environmentally friendly and economical to operate, while at the same time exhibiting high aesthetic quality. There will be a number of communal facilities such as bicycle parking with a workshop, car pool, changing rooms and showers. Linked to the office facilities on the first floor, there is a first class staff restaurant combined with an auditorium and meeting room facilities.
Surrounding the building there is an outdoor area with a square, recreational area, areas for socialising and high quality green areas. The varied design lends itself to all manner of uses, and it will be an important contribution to the development of a vibrant and sustainable area that was once an isolated and outdated industrial area.
Work will start in March 2018, and is scheduled for completion in the autumn of 2019. More information about the project: www.harbitztorg.no
